 I made an illustration of happy critters for my cousin's baby shower and it found a doppelgänger friend on the gift table!
Hooray for serendipitous coordination! They even have complimentary snout twists :)

 I made it just in time to post for this week's Illustration Friday challenge "Storm". My guess is it's in light of the storms in the North East - I drew some inspiration from the pictures folks back home have been posting.
 My friend Rachel was telling me a little bit about a children's book she'd like to write and of course it had awesome visuals and I had to sketch one.

I started in my style, and then tried a style on that's a little more like his.  A little doodle I did, that reminds me of my baby brother...
Who's 21... Not really a baby anymore, but it's how I remember him.  My submission for Illustration Friday this week "Silent"... Sad but sweet.
